My Visit To Lekan Salami Stadium

My visit to lekan Salami Stadium was splendid although I visited this stadium during their renovation period. In fact the next day being 1st of September was the Re-opening of lekan Salami Stadium.

This Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Ibadan, Nigeria. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Shooting Stars FC, Karamone F.C. and other local teams located in Ibadan. 

Some of the Facilities in the stadium include, football field, tennis courts, squash, indoor sports hall, amphitheater, basketball courts, volleyball courts, swimming pool (uncompleted) and handball courts. Even the electric gadgets was installed in the stadium for live transmission of matches,

The stadium is big enough to contain a lot of football fans and also have comfortable seats in the standard of a modern arena. The installation of the seats also raised the seating capacity of the stadium to 10,000.

48 flags or their about was mounted round the field. The stadium is garnished with blue colour with a touch of white in some areas. But the pitch is evergreen and smooth.

Anytime you visit ibadan try to visit lekan Salami Stadium. The error of flooding might have been corrected in the stadium. So take your time to explore.
