OLUMIRIN WATERFALL IS A GREAT TOURIST DESTINATION Wow, I believe this is going to be my first waterfall I have ever visited in nigeria. Although it was not an easy journey, I finally got to my destination on time. My journey began from Lagos State down to Osogbo and down to Erin Ijesha where Olumirin Waterfall is located… Olumirin Waterfall popularly known as Erin Ijesha waterfall. Mind you, Erin Ijesha is the name of a town. The meaning of olumirin Waterfall is called “Another God” It is a tourist attraction located in Oriade local government area, Osun State, Nigeria. The waterfall was discovered in 1140 AD by one of the daughters of Oduduwa. However, according to The Another source Olumirin waterfall was discovered by hunters in 1140 AD”.Another has it that the site was discovered by a woman called Akinla, founder of Erin-Ijesa(ijesha) town and a granddaughter of Oduduwa, during the migration of Ife people to Erin- Ijesa(ijesha) The waterfall features seven levels. I only climbed 2 levels of this waterfall. The waterfalls is one of the most beautiful destinations to explore in Nigeria. It gives you the best natural and hiking experience. THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW!!! 1.The Gate fee is 1k 2.When going to this waterfall make sure you go with enough bottle water like one or two. 3.Standby camera man collects 100naira per photo 4.If you are going in a group, go with food and water or if you are a solo traveller like me, you go with some snacks and beverages to avoid “HAD I KNOW” 5.Lastly give God glory after climbing down 😂 Thanks to my good friend, a brother, omotosho travels.

Aw, this was a really nice post. Finding the time and actual effort to produce a very good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate a lot and never seem to get anything done.
